It's tough to be under 30 in this world. From the expectations of love and marriage, to finding the perfect job, and redefining the “American Dream” we are under all sorts of pressures. We all have experienced the feeling of not being good enough. Not being good enough for a job, a title, for a spouse, or even God. All to many times I have been a victim of this self hate illusion. Many of us are pressured by society to be more than what we are capable of being so we feel we are not good enough when the expectations we place on ourselves aren't met. I'm not saying we aren't capable of everything, but I am saying God designed us to have a certain set of skills and talents.
Before I formed you in the womb,I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart for my holy purpose. I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5) How amazing is it to know that God created us way before our existence was thought of. So why do we allow society, jobs, friends, family, lovers etc. tell us what we are or are not capable of. Doesn't matter if that job is looking for you to have a masters and 5-7 years of experience, God sees the best in you and has the best for you.
So what if that girl thought you were a nice guy so she friend zoned you, or that guy didn't see the beauty inside of you so he took you for granted, God sees the best in you and has the best in you. No matter where you are in life or aspiring to go, remember that God created you to be the best you, you can be. Never allow the pressures of society to undermine your worth and value. You are anointed young King, you are anointed young Queen. And the jobs and people sent by God will know how valuable and worthy you are.
So keep your head up and remember “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 God loves you and knows your worth. Submit to him and everyone who crosses path with you will know that worth.
